Terms of Service
Effective date: May 25, 2026 — Last updated: May 25, 2026
1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of CS Content Clarity, a web-based tool that evaluates learning content against instructional design best practices. CS Content Clarity is a product of CS Learning Solutions, the public-facing brand of Complete Learning Solutions LLC, a Virginia limited liability company.
By accessing or using CS Content Clarity, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.
2. What CS Content Clarity Is — and Is Not
CS Content Clarity is a preliminary and supportive review tool. It is designed to assist instructional designers, course creators, educators, and learning professionals in evaluating their content — not to replace their professional judgment.
Specifically:
- The tool surfaces potential gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement based on instructional design best practices.
- The Quality Matters (QM) compliance framework is available as a selectable evaluation option. Evaluation results do not constitute official QM certification or any formal compliance determination.
- The user remains fully responsible for reviewing their content and making final decisions about quality, compliance, and publication.
- CS Content Clarity is one tool among many. It is not intended to serve as the sole or final review of any course or learning material.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CS Content Clarity or purchase sessions. By using the tool, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Sessions and Access
CS Content Clarity is accessed on a pay-per-session basis. Session types and pricing are described on the Pricing page.
- Sessions are single-use and begin when you submit content for review.
- Each session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Content and results are not retained after a session ends.
- Purchased sessions expire 12 months from the date of purchase if unused.
- Sessions are non-transferable.
5. Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. CS Learning Solutions does not store your payment information.
6. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Sessions are non-refundable once purchased. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from completing a session, contact us at contact@cslearningsolutions.com and we will work with you to resolve it.
7. Data and Privacy
CS Content Clarity is designed with privacy in mind. Content you submit for review is used only to generate your evaluation results during that session. It is not stored, retained, or used for any other purpose after your session ends.
For full details on what data we collect and how we use it, see the Privacy Policy below.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CS Content Clarity only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms. You may not:
- Submit content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce the tool's outputs for resale or redistribution
- Use the tool to evaluate content you do not have the right to submit
- Interfere with or disrupt the tool's operation
9. Intellectual Property
CS Content Clarity, including its underlying prompts, evaluation logic, and output structure, is the intellectual property of Complete Learning Solutions LLC. You retain all rights to the content you submit. Evaluation reports generated by the tool are for your use only and may not be resold or redistributed without written permission.
10. No Warranty
CS Content Clarity is provided "as is." CS Learning Solutions makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the tool's evaluation results. They do not constitute a guarantee of quality, compliance, or instructional effectiveness.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CS Learning Solutions and Complete Learning Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CS Content Clarity, including but not limited to losses resulting from reliance on evaluation results.
In no event shall CS Learning Solutions' total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the session(s) giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes to the Tool and Pricing
CS Learning Solutions reserves the right to modify the tool, its features, or its pricing at any time. Changes to pricing will not affect sessions already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes by posting an update to this page.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of CS Content Clarity after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
15. Institutional Use

Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 25, 2026 — Last updated: May 25, 2026
The short version: We do not store, retain, or share any content you submit for review. Everything you upload or paste into CS Content Clarity is used only to generate your results during that session and is permanently deleted when your session ends or after 30 minutes of inactivity. We never sell your data.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how CS Learning Solutions, the public-facing brand of Complete Learning Solutions LLC (a Virginia limited liability company), collects, uses, and protects information when you use CS Content Clarity.
We take privacy seriously — especially because our users work with educational content that may be sensitive. This policy is written in plain language so you know exactly what happens to your data.
2. The Two Categories of Data
We handle two distinct categories of data, and they are treated very differently.
Category 1: Account and billing data
This is information collected when you purchase a session — your email address (collected by Stripe at checkout) and payment information (processed and stored by Stripe, never by us). We may retain your email address for the purpose of sending receipts and communicating with you about your purchase.
Category 2: Content and review data
This is everything you submit for review — course outlines, slides, assessment items, learning objectives, or any other learning content. This data is never stored. It exists only in memory during your active session and is permanently deleted when your session ends or after 30 minutes of inactivity. We cannot retrieve it after deletion. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not share it with third parties.
3. What We Collect
When you use CS Content Clarity, we may collect:
- Email address (via Stripe at checkout, for receipts and purchase-related communication)
- Session type purchased (Free Trial, Quick Check, or Full Review)
- Date and time of purchase
- General usage data (e.g., whether a session was completed) — no content is included in this data
We do not collect:
- The content you submit for review
- Personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to process your purchase
- Information from third-party sources
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process your payment and send a receipt
- Provide access to the tool
- Respond to questions or support requests
- Improve the tool's performance over time (using aggregate, non-content usage data only)
We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising.
5. Data Retention
- Account and billing data: Retained as long as necessary for business and legal purposes, typically no longer than 3 years.
- Content and review data: Never retained. Deleted at session end or after 30 minutes of inactivity, whichever comes first.
- Purchased sessions: Expire 12 months from the date of purchase if unused.
6. Third-Party Services
CS Content Clarity uses the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and stores your payment information under their own privacy policy and security standards. We do not have access to your full payment details.
- Google Cloud — our tool runs on Google Cloud infrastructure. Content submitted during a session is processed in memory and is not written to persistent storage.
We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or analytics platforms that collect personally identifiable information.
7. Cookies
CS Content Clarity may use session cookies to maintain your access during an active session. These cookies expire when your session ends. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
8. FERPA Considerations
Some users of CS Content Clarity may work with content that includes or relates to student education records covered under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Because CS Content Clarity does not retain any submitted content, it does not store student education records. However, users are responsible for ensuring their use of the tool complies with applicable FERPA obligations at their institution.
9. Children's Privacy
CS Content Clarity is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed the tool, please contact us at contact@cslearningsolutions.com and we will address it promptly.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. If we make a material change — particularly one that affects how we handle your data — we will notify you by email if you have an account with us.
Continued use of CS Content Clarity after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
